Tonya Lynn freelances as a fight director/choreographer, actress, and teacher--her credits include Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theater, Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks, Prime Stage Theater, Open Stage Theater, and Pandora’s Box. She particularly enjoys providing young actors with an introduction to the field of stage combat, and has served as a guest instructor for Hope Academy for Music and the Arts, the Pittsburgh CLO Academy Summer Camp and as a guest fight choreographer for Fox Chapel High School.
Tonya maintains an active membership with the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), a national organization with whom she holds the rank of Advanced Actor-Combatant and volunteers as Pittsburgh Local Representative. She continues to frequently train and work at national and regional stage combat workshops across the United States. Tonya has also studied at the International Stunt School under Maestro David Boushey in Seattle, WA, and is an Apprentice Stunt Performer with the United Stuntmen's Association.
